Today Is The First Day of the Rest of My Life

Today is the first day in over two months that I haven’t awakened with a drop-dead deadline looming over my head. The grant proposals I was working on were due yesterday, and I am happy to say all were submitted on time, with hours, or in some cases, days, to spare.
